I love there fish & chicken. I prefer to go late night the guys really season the fish & it's extra crispy! Mhmm highly recommend. It's an in/out kinda place doesn't fit more than 2 people at a time so I'd call to order ahead to avoid waiting outside. OH, and the chocolate cake is so moist & good! Give the potato or macaroni salad a try. You won't be disappointed

This unassuming hole in the wall never disappoints. Wings always hot and juicy. No sauce needed. Chew steaks always hit with thick enough slices smothered with mushrooms, peppers and onions on a soft lightly toasted roll. Oh and that D#+] Reese's chocolate chunk cookie?!?! Amazing

Be prepared for loud music and an audience since this part of the street always has something going on! This is one of our go to spots for a quick dinner. I always get their spicy chicken sandwich and it's honestly my favorite in all of Oakland (so far). The guys in the shop are nice and I'm happy to support them.

Excellent!!! What a nice little find! Had lunch here with my crew today and what a great little spot. The price was great and the quality of the food was superb! Located in Oakland, they seem to be doing well. A little hole in the wall, but perfect in character and taste! Has all the necessary essentials and some! Burgers, chicken sandos, corn dogs even. And...they have fried chicken and tenders! The fried chicken looked amazing, didn't try any but I will for sure next time! One of my guys ordered the chicken tenders and those were awesome! Super large pieces of tender and generous portion of fries. One could not ask for more! The burger I had was super tasty and got the job done! Kudos to these guys, a helluva burger shop you guys are running! Great job!!

Iv tried every single thing on this menu and it's all delicious I can't figure out what's my favorite, cheeseburger , crispy chicken sandwich or fish fillet. Macaroni salad and potato salad usually sold out because it's of course amazing. Once inside, the kitchen is very visible, you watch the whole cooking process! And you can see how they keep everything clean!

You gotta try their Philly cheesesteaks!!!!!!! They are solid, the cheese sticks to the fries in the Togo box, it is magical! They have a good menu and great prices! Friendly staff too! Will definitely return!!!!!!!!

"Halal Burgers and More" is a restaurant located near Lake Merritt, a few blocks from the County Courthouse. It's menu features burgers, sandwiches, chicken, and drinks. It's a perfect menu for people working in the area. I saw the great Yelp reviews, so I stopped by to get some takeout to try the food. I got a Cheeseburger w/ everything on it, and 5-pc Chicken Wings. Now, I did check my order, and it looked right. But when I got home, I discovered they gave me chicken tenders. These chicken tenders were big pieces of juicy white meat, coated with a crispy batter. I hit them with hot sauce, and they were great. But I think I ordered wings! The Cheeseburger was excellent. The meat patty was thick and lean. Not fatty and greasy. I got my burger w/ everything. So I experienced the full flavor of fresh red onions, peppers, and pickles. Freshness with a crunch! Once you enjoy a cheeseburger like this, you will not go back to ordinary fast food. So, good food at fair prices. Next time tell the customer when you have to substitute chicken tenders for wings. This is going to be short and sweet. I like this spot. I came once before for a spicy chicken sandwich, and it was satisfying. I really like the fish sandwich though! The fish filet lays in between two slices of warm brioche bread, red onions, lettuce, pickles, pickled jalapeños and melted American cheese. It's very satisfying. Great price for the meal and this place being open late night is a win. I do, however, wish the fish fillet were thicker. It's really tasty already, but this would put it a notch higher.
